This position plays an important role in maintaining accurate store pricing, promotional signage, and receiving operations to support overall store efficiency and customer satisfaction. The Pricing Coordinator Clerk/Receiving Clerk works closely with department managers, vendors, and store leadership to ensure pricing integrity, promotional accuracy, and timely processing of incoming shipments.
This role contributes to store sales and profitability by ensuring pricing consistency throughout the store while also supporting receiving operations through the inspection, verification, and documentation of incoming merchandise and materials.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Performs daily tasks as delegated by the Lead Pricing Coordinator.
- Maintains accurate pricing throughout the store, including verifying weekly ad changes, promotional pricing, markdowns, and shelf tag accuracy.
- Executes price changes, promotional signage updates, ad changes, and display pricing in a timely and accurate manner.
- Creates, posts, and replaces pricing signs and shelf tags as needed.
- Conducts regular pricing audits to ensure compliance with company pricing standards and policies.
- Works cooperatively with department managers and vendors to ensure pricing accuracy and communication of promotional programs.
- Assists in maintaining organized and clean pricing work areas, shelving, storage areas, and sales floor displays.
