The Mitten Tree Spreads Holiday Joy!
The holiday season for most of us is a time of year to pause and realize about how much we have in our lives. At Viking Village we believe in giving back year-round, but it’s especially important to think of others in need during the holidays.
The Mitten Tree Program
We will have a Helping Hands Mitten Trees decorated with paper mittens. This event is held during the winter holiday season and supplies families with wished-for items, clothing, basic supplies and a food care package. You may pick one or however many of them you would like to shop for.
The following Viking locations have mitten tags that may be picked up by the public:
Viking Village Foods – 150 Viking Drive, Reedsburg
Viking Express Mart – 10 Viking Drive, Reedsburg
Viking Liquor – 1625 East Main Street, Reedsburg
If you have little ones in your life this is a wonderful opportunity to shop for someone else and allow them the experience of showing others we care, and the joy of giving.
All items will be collected by December 5th.
Helping Hands will start to collect the items to put into boxes for families to receive the second week in December.
