Personal Trainer – Ty Horkan

Ty is a very active person and has been since he was a kid. He grew up playing basketball – even his parents say he could “dribble before he could walk”. He played basketball for Reedsburg High School and was a part of the Madison College Basketball team for 2 years. He still plays when he’s not outdoors taking his dog, Ivy Lee for a walks, hiking, or playing tennis.


A personal trainer for over 5 years, Ty’s first personal training position was in Madison, WI at 9ROUND, offering boxing/kickboxing that was high intensity interval training. Next it was personal training at Fitbody Boot Camp where he specialized in small group training doing HIIT for a fast 30 minute workout.

Over time Ty has trained a wide variety of clients including multiple collegiate athletes, young kids, retired elders, teenagers, college kids, and middle aged adults. His specialties include weight loss and muscle toning, improving muscular strength and size, as well as group training.
