PAM’S WHITE ASPARAGUS SAUCE

Asparagus is such a seasonal treat that is made even better with this White Sauce recipe.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 tablespoons of real butter
  • 4 tablespoons of flour
  • dash of salt
  • 3 cups of whole milk
  • asparagus

DIRECTIONS

  1. This is great with cooked asparagus and served over a piece of fresh bread.
  2. In pan on low heat, melt 4 tablespoons of real butter, 4 tablespoons of flour, dash of salt and 3 cups of whole milk.
  3. Stir constantly until thick.
  4. Then add cooked asparagus. Mix well.
